Floyd Landis has once again proved that Americans have the right stuff in winning the Tour de France. Many Frenchmen believed that without Lance Armstrong in the race this year that a Frenchman could win the race. They were mistaken because they had under estimated the ability of American athletes. The world has under estimated the will and strength of Americans. Capitalism and competition produces the greatest athletes and the greatest humans with the most strength of character. Floyd Landis was not expected to win this year, but someone forgot to tell him that. Floyd Landis with his incredible perseverance and strength, dedication and commitment and incredible will has once again proved to never under estimate America or her people. Floyd Landis also won the Tour de France while competing with serious injuries. It is incredible what a human being can endure and the will endure in extreme competition. Such extreme competition as the Tour de France brings out the strongest people and displays them for the world to see. As the rest of the world turns to a socialist beehive of humanity we see that the individual still prevails in the United States of America. We must continue to celebrate the individual in their individual endeavors as they press on in achievement. Floyd Landis proves there is nothing you cannot do if you put your mind to it and he is able to do this because he is an American. Please consider this in 2006. |
