Iran Has a Decorative and Proud Past

Author: Lance Winslow

It has recently been brought to the attention of the free world that Iran has a decorative and Proud Past? Indeed, that is not deniable. But it is what is going on that really matters, not all the wonderful things that may have gone on in the past. For instance the current Iranian leadership sponsors international terrorism and is now making nuclear weapons to put on top of large rockets to blow Israel off the map; Bummer indeed, so much for the wonderful history?

Cathy states: "Fact #3. Iran is a very mature, proud and peaceful country with a record of peaceful existence for the past 3 centuries."

Irrelevant about the ego and what about the Iran/Iraq war? And what about these threats now? What about promising to blow Israel off the map? What about sending insurgents into Iraq to kill US Troops and disrupt the new government of Iraq? What about buying high-tech missile platforms to carry nuclear weapons? What about funding international terrorism. Your facts have a whole lot to be desired. No go, and while I am at it how dare you condemn the United States of America, the greatest single civilization in the history of mankind, which has given more money and aid to the common good than all other civilizations combined? Hmm?

It seems as if folks are using this wonderful past to cloud the issue of Iran's promise and desire to use nuclear weapons on civilian populations. So perhaps we may consider all this in 2006.
