Mass Media Effect on Foreign Thinking

Author: Lance Winslow

Currently much of Europe is forgoing the eating of chicken and discontinuing purchases of poultry products. Likewise much of the World is convinced that air pollution from mankind is the sole reason for Climate Change, dubbing mankind's effect on our atmosphere as Global Warming. Some of the mass media hysteria has caused people to protest and march against Industrialized Nations, Globalization and Oil Interests in first world nations. Each storm, flood or weather event these days, whether too hot or too cold is attributed to Global Warming and then the masses and media blame world leaders for the weather?

You have no doubt seen the chaos and controversy this belief causes. I have seen such things abroad to with crowds, but this is human nature. Some say there is nothing wrong with the Planet, only the people upon it. I think I more often find myself in that camp really, although you might be one who is into the sound and fury and blames the wicked recent weather on Global Warming. Indeed, no one likes pollution, as it is unfortunate, yet stopping Hurricanes may actually entail dropping a film of vegetable oil, crude oil or some type of oil on the surface of the ocean? That is pollution, is that okay if it serves a larger purpose? Oh, I got you thinking? Good, as if everyone thought about it and studied these issues, maybe they would stop blaming leaders for the weather and accusing them of causing Global Warming we might be able to address the real issues of Climate Change, including volcanic activity and solar cycle changes. Then we can address the issues of mankind's pollution even if a very small amount.

So sometimes it is not an either or decision, but a choice of lesser evils? Pragmatics do better with such unfortunate eventualities of choice, which many of our leaders have to be to survive in the hostile game of politics. Speaking of which when you succumb to such linear thinking as Global Warming theory aren't you really simply picking sides in the sound and fury of mankind? And in doing so what might this signify and what is do your efforts when all is said and done really stand for? Think on this.
