Steering Hurricanes?

Author: Lance Winslow

Habitual horrific Hurricanes could possibly persist permanently. Some Global Warming folks believe this and even many Climate Change Scientists believe we could be in for a double decade of de-habilitating devastation and destruction. One thing is for sure, no matter what side of the debate you find yourself, you have to admit that Hurricane Katrina and Rita, really ripped into our reality and requires a response. It would be wonderful to stop, kill or crush a willfully wicked storm. But is it really possible to take out a Full Blown Hurricane? Many believe that making a Hurricane might be easier than destroying it. But if you can make one and understand how it grows you could potentially steer it; are steer-able Hurricanes in our future?

The biggest question is who gets to decide where it goes? If you steer a Hurricane headed for Coco beach, will it hit Cape Canaveral? If it is headed to Daytona Beach, do you forgo St Augustine and the entire first coast; can you imagine the lawyers filing suit that you own for the destruction caused because the Hurricane was moved? Ouch.

Whatever we decide we need to do something quick, because at a 100 Billion Dollar cost for every Category Four Hurricane is more than we need to be spending and if we have three more decades of these things our National Debt will be in a World of hurt indeed. Think on this.
