Warts - Learn How to Prevent Them

Author: Jason Montag

Right now it is said that a huge percentage of the human population is carrying the virus that causes warts of all types. The virus is called HPV and there are many different types of it and all of them cause different types of warts ranging from the common warts that you get on your hands and feet to the more unwelcome of the bunch, venereal warts. Not all warts hurt at all or are dangerous but they all have something in common and that is that they are embarrassing for the person that has them.

I mentioned that a huge percentage of the population has the virus that will cause them but not everyone get them. Only a portion of the population that has the virus will display signs of the warts it causes. There is no way to tell if you will ever get warts or not but the key is to know what to do if you do get them and ways to prevent yourself from getting different types of the virus and spreading it to other people.

The HPV spreads from person to person very quickly and warts spread fast to other people and other body parts easily too, by way of skin to skin contact. The best way to stop the spread of warts is to avoid touching anyone else's warts or let them touch yours. This sounds easy since nobody wants to touch them but the thing is that a handshake can cause contact with warts since common warts tend to occur on the hands and fingers. Also if you have one and touch it then touch another part of your body you can develop warts on teat part too. The best thing to do is have a doctor help you identify the warts you have and treat them as well.
